2011 Spring Trip to Colorado Springs, Colorado
May 20-23, 2011
The
quoted price from a travel agent that many FISD organizations use for this trip
was $445 per student. I have
booked the trip myself and negotiated with hotels and parks to get the lowest
prices possible and still make this a 1st class trip. I appreciate your support and assure
you this will by a fun and rewarding experience for our orchestra.
I
need you to look at your calendar and make a decision now so that we have
sufficient funds to make deposits.
We are getting incredibly low prices because we are booking early.
The
success of our Booster Club fund raising will determine our contribution to the
cost of the trip. All costs at
this point are estimates.
The
maximum FISD allows per student is $300.
We
have read the attached information and would like for our son/daughter to be
included in the trip to Colorado Springs.
We agree to either pay for the trip in full or make timely payments as
specified. We have read the rules
governing school sponsored over-night trips and agree to them. We will participate in one or more fund
raising booster activities to help make this trip affordable to all students.
AP
testing for 2011-12 will be completed on May 18, 2011.
This
date for our trip conflicts with our banquet so our banquet date will be moved.
