RULES AND PROCEDURES
You are representing your
school and Frisco Independent School District.
ACT ACCORDINGLY!
You are the best of the best
students at LHS and I do not expect any behaviors from you that would change my
opinion. But necessity dictates
that rules be spelled out so
there are no misunderstandings.
1. No one leaves the hotel.
We
will have a system in place to assure that room curfew is enforced.
After
room curfew, do not open your door for anything except a real emergency.
2. No one travels alone.
At
the parks and events you will be assigned to a group and a chaperone. Do not wander off
alone at any time.
3. We will adhere to FISD polices.
Any
clothing that is inappropriate will not be permitted. No tank tops or halter tops, jeans with holes, shorts that
are too short or bikinis at the pool.
4. Bring cell phones.
You
do not have to have one. We will need cell phones (and chargers) in each group.
5. No drugs permitted. Alcohol,
cigarettes and lighters, illegal drugs of any kind (including prescription
drugs), knives, and weapons will be dealt with through the local Police
Department and an immediate plane flight home at your parent’s expense, if the
police do not take you to jail first.
6. Prescription Drugs will be given to Mr. Hohmann on arrival and dispensed
according to directions.
7. ILLNESS.
If a student becomes ill,
their parents will be called immediately and appropriate steps taken according
to their parents instructions.
8. Hotel.
No screaming or speaking loudly in hallways.
Be
courteous and polite to other guests.
Do
not bang on the floor, walls, or ceilings.
Do
not drink water bottles, soft drinks,
etc. placed in your room by the hotel.
They will be charged to us and are very expensive.
Do
not use hotel phones to call outside of the hotel.
No
boys in girls rooms or girls in boys rooms. We will have ample time for socializing outside of the
rooms.
9. Do not be late for check in times.
10. Obey your chaperone.
Things
provided for you:
We
will bring cases of bottled water and soft drinks in coolers on the bus.
We
will have a First Aid kit.
We
will have a chaperone vehicle.
Bus,
room, meals, tickets to activities.
Things
you should bring:
Instrument,
case, bow, shoulder rest, rock stop, music
Breakfast
for Friday morning on the bus.
Lunch will not be until 12:00pm.
We will provide drinks on the bus.
1
bag of luggage-the smaller the better.
Back-pack or carry-on is ok
Spending
money for snacks and souvenirs if you desire.
Camera
Cell
phone
Light
jacket
Rain
coat
Sun
Screen spf 30
Water
bottle for park if you wish to carry one
Any
items lost on the trip are your responsibility.
