Lindsey Titus
Assistant Orchestra Director, LHS

Lindsey Titus is the assistant orchestra director at Liberty High School.  She is also currently the head director of the Scoggins Middle School orchestras and has been since the school opened in 2008.  For the past two years she has also been the head director of Stafford Middle School.

She grew up in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch school district, and it was there that she started playing the cello in 5th grade.

She continued playing the cello all through high school, and loved being in orchestra.  It built such a sense of community within the group and it was such a fun experience; it was then that she decided she would like to be an orchestra teacher.  What an awesome job it is to have music in one’s life, to teach music to students, and to instill that same sense of community that was enjoyed so much as a student.

Mrs. Titus went to Baylor University where she studied Music Education with an emphasis in cello.  She graduated in December 2007, and began working in Frisco the next school year.

Mrs. Titus has played in the Waco Symphony and is currently playing with the New Philharmonic of Irving.  She loves music, loves playing her instrument, and loves teaching kids to acquire the same fondness of music.
